Welcome to our website. Starting on Friday Augustus 27^th until Sunday 29^th afternoon the volunteers and sponsors of Holland Triathlon will be presenting a great sporting event in beautiful Almere, The Netherlands. Three days in which the participating triathletes compete in a Schools Triathlon, the UPC Long Distance Classic and Premium European Cup Olympic Distance. You don't want to miss out on the the finish in our pleasant port, Almere Haven.

Triathlon TV (Dutch) made an impression from the Long Distance and Olympic Distance. You can view this impression on www.triathlontv.nl the spoken language is however Dutch.

Holland Triathlon best regional sporting event in the Netherlands

Holland Triathlon is the best regional sporting event in the Netherlands. This title was awarded last Thursday during the presentation of The National Awards Event 2009 in Amsterdam.

Although the reasons of the jury's choice has not yet been explained, the organization of Holland Triathlon believe the prize has been rewarded due to competition number, as well as the large numbers of volunteers plus the long existence of our sporting event.

Almere was nominated as National Event City of the Year, but the price was awarded to Arnhem. 'Zand Almere', an event held at one of the beaches in Almere, was awarded the second prize in the category, City Promotion.
